What is Cast & Track?
Cast & Track is a tracking and reminder tool designed specifically for job seekers.
Most people juggle Excel sheets, Google Docs, sticky notes, and personal hacks when applying
for jobs - this tool brings all that together, offering one streamlined space to track
applications, networking efforts, target companies, and follow-ups.
⚠ Note: Cast & Track is not an AI tool.
You still need to put in the hard work: finding roles, tailoring your resume, preparing for
interviews - but Cast & Track helps you stay organized and on top of your efforts.
What does it cost?
I'd love to say "nothing" but I'm not that rich! 😀
There is no cost to use Cast & Track tool, and no features are locked behind paywalls. All
you need is an email to create an account.
Cast & Track runs on a pay it forward model — when you land a job, or if you are in a position to help, your contributions (one-time or monthly) are warmly appreciated.
Even small amounts help keep the lights on and the service running.
Note: The "contribute" section in the app is still WIP, so thank you in advance for your patience! 😀
How does it work?
Once you sign up with your email, you’ll land on the main dashboard with tabs like:
- Dashboard -> Today’s reminders and action items.
- Job Applications -> Track where you've applied, attach resumes and cover letters, save job descriptions, monitor status.
- Networking -> Track connections, outreach, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Target Companies -> List companies you're watching, track opportunities, set follow-up reminders.
- Continuing Education -> Log certifications, training, and learning goals.
The system's value-add is the follow-up field: When a follow-up date arrives, the item
surfaces automatically on your dashboard, ensuring you never miss a beat.
